NEXUS serves a Meal from the Heart at Ronald McDonald House Charites (RMHC)

NEXUS Administrators had the privilege of hosting a Meal from the Heart at the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Valley. Upon arrival staff was able to tour the 18-bedroom home that provides accommodation for families of children who are being treated at Valley Children’s Hospital in Madera. The families staying at RMHC Central Valley experience a comfortable, calm, and nurturing place to maintain a family bond during a difficult time.
The Meals from the Heart Program provides families the opportunity to eat a warm, home cooked meal after a long day of enduring a stressful hospital environment.
NEXUS served lunch and desserts and also was able to drop off all the donations that were collected prior to our visit.
The mission of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Central Valley is to provide a home away from home and resources for the families of hospitalized children.
Each year, hundreds of families stay at the Ronald McDonald House of the Central Valley. They rely solely on the generosity of the community to provide for the families and the opportunity to continue to expand our services to those when they need it the most.
